The film attempts to draw a portrait of one of the most mysterious CEOs in the Silicon Valley – Alex Karp, a billionaire with a doctorate in philosophy, a self-proclaimed neo-Marxist and pacifist. Yet, no-one can say what his company PALANTIR exactly does; all that is known is that their business turns around data mining and that the CIA and NSA have been their clients for a long time.
