The Festival is now on in Auckland till 12 July.
Seven years ago, a community organisation on Waiheke Island set out to eradicate stoats that have been decimating New Zealand’s native birdlife. With iwi, community, and sponsor support, the stoats are retreating and the birds are coming back.
