Stoats’ Last Stand

Seven years ago, a community organisation on Waiheke Island set out to eradicate stoats that have been decimating New Zealand’s native birdlife. With iwi, community, and sponsor support, the stoats are retreating and the birds are coming back.

This film won Best New Zealand Tertiary Film category at the Doc Edge Awards 2026.
