Nestled in Kangaroo Valley, encircled by cliffs two hours south of Sydney, a community quietly goes about its work. Residents spend long days in solitude, milking cows, growing vegetables and baking bread. Yet these isolated lives are deeply connected, each shaped by a longing for human contact and a sense of belonging.
The film had its world premiere at Sydney Film Festival 2026 and was the Australian National Winner for Best Editing at the 2026 Asian Academy Creative Awards. From director Ian Darling (The Pool, Doc Edge 2025).
