A photographic study of latent space and non-visible light, reimagining Wellington’s cityscape through machine learning (Artificial Intelligence). The ephemeral moving imagery draws on the artist’s original dataset of 2,500 infrared and colour infrared photographs of Wellington. Beyond its architectural aesthetics, it explores the ethics of data ownership and the evolving role of AI in the creative process. The sound design, created by Michael Hodgson, examines the RGB values in the video imagery to shape the composition of each soundscape.
