A resin-cast tōtara stump, practical lighting, and augmented reality combine to make visible one of the most significant and most overlooked environmental losses in Te Waipounamu / the South Island. The forest that was here returns, briefly, around the stump that remains.
This film won Best New Zealand Immersive Exhibition Impact Project at the Doc Edge Awards 2026.
