A codebreaker genius, a revolutionary surveillance programme and corruption in the board of the National Security Agency. Former Technical Director of the NSA Bill Binney was the best code-breaker the U.S.A. ever had. He and a small team within the NSA created a programme called Thin Thread, a surveillance tool that could pick up any electronic signal on earth, filter it for targets and render results in real-time — while still keeping the privacy demanded by the U.S. constitution.
