The Roxy embeds two state of the art cinemas, two bar areas, a café and a renowned restaurant within a two-storey building designed by Weta Workshop.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES IN THE THEATRE
Beverages, confectionary and Ice cream purchased at The Roxy can be taken into the cinema theatres; there are free water stations on both levels.
There is unrestricted car parking space around the corner on Tahi Street, and further south on Park Road. If you‘re visiting just to buy tickets or have coffee, there are 30-minute parking spaces directly outside the building. Buses 2, 24, 31, 43 and 44 all depart from Courtney Place (CBD) and go directly to the Roxy. Roughly 25 minutes, but allow time for traffic and delays. For more information and bus timetables head to www.metlink.org.nz.
We have limited wheelchair spaces and hearing loops. A photo ID is required for the use of hearing aid equipment. There are two mobility car parks at the front of the building; there is also a lift at the back of the building to take anyone with special mobility requirements attending screenings in Cinema One. Please ask our friendly staff for assistance.
